Situated on the family, working, arable farm, in the pretty village of Harrington, is this comfortable and tastefully decorated, one bedroom, single-storey property overlooking the historic church of St Peter’s and St Paul’s. Perfect if you are staying for business or pleasure, for a short stay or a little longer, the owners will give you a warm welcome. Within a 5-minute walk will find you at the award-winning Warner’s Gin Distillery where you can enjoy a pre-booked tour and gin tasting, where gins are created using only natural ingredients that are farm grown or locally sourced and experience their botanical garden.
Also within the village of Harrington is a truly British countryside pub where you can enjoy award winning food and an array of real ales and of course Warner’s gins. If you are interested in visiting historic houses, this is the place to be as there are several to choose from, including Kelmarsh Hall, Althorp House; Diana’s final resting place, Rockingham Castle and Burghley House; home to the annual horse trials. There are many wedding venues close by including Holdenby House, Lamport Hall and Rushton Hall to name a few.
Looking to get out in the countryside? At Pitsford Reservoir you can enjoy water sports, walking and cycling within easy reach, as is Foxton Locks, a famous flight of ten locks along the canal, along with the Boiler House Experience and Rutland Water, full of activities for all ages. Wicksteed Park and Silverstone Race Circuit are within easy driving distance. The market towns of Market Harborough, Kettering, Northampton, Rugby, Huntingdon and Oakham are within half an hours drive. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
