Nestled on the fun-filled park, Billing Aquadrome, on the outskirts of Northampton, is this single-storey lodge, 9 Kingfisher Lakes. Offering a family of five a homely setting, 9 Kingfisher Lakes is positioned near one of the lakes and is ideal for a relaxing getaway. Park up next to your lodge with two off-road parking spaces to use, before taking three steps up onto the decking and entering the lodge. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space after a busy day of activities and relax on the corner sofa as you watch the Smart TV. Put on the electric stove for some snug ambiance and head into the kitchen area to rustle up something tasty for the group, with a gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer and a microwave at your fingertips, you have all the essentials for a self-catered stay. Gather at the dining table at mealtimes, or head out of the double doors to the decking to dine alfresco in the warmer months, enjoying the views of the lake beyond as you eat. Settle down in one of the three bedrooms, with the master bedroom home to a king-size bed and plenty of storage for your things, with a Jack-and-Jill door connecting the bedroom to the bathroom for your convenience. The bathroom is home to a bath with an overhead shower, great for those needing to bathe little ones. The final two rooms consist of a triple bunk room, with a double below and a single on top, and a children's single room with a fold out bed. The only thing you'll need to worry about while staying on Billing Aquadrome's 235-acre site is how to fit as many activities in as you can; this fantastic leisure park is bursting with options suitable for all ages, and is home to a shop for all your essentials, along with a bar and restaurant on-site. Activities are subject to extra charges, and there are lots to choose from with smaller children sure to love the indoor children's soft play area and the cute miniature railway, while all ages can enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool with a splash zone too. Adults can head over to the Marina and relax on the deck overlooking the water with a refreshing drink, while lots of scenic picnic spots by the lakes are perfect for a little adventure and lunch alfresco. For some peace and tranquility, head to the fishing tackle shop and get set up for an afternoon casting a line, before joining the rest of your group to finish the day with some of the evening entertainment. Explore your surroundings further by heading into the heart of Northampton and discover an array of history here along with more attractions and open spaces; visit the Charles Rennie Mackintosh House, the only house in England designed by the modernist architect, or head to the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery to soak up the local history and culture. Embark on an exciting trip along the Northampton & Lamport Railway, a restored heritage track which runs steam and diesel powered rides. The Brixworth Country Park is well worth visiting too, along with Icarus Falconry, Irchester Country Park and Hunsbury Hill. For a truly memorable experience, head to Silverstone Circuit, renowned as the home of British Motor Racing, where if you time it right, motorheads can catch a glimpse of the exhilarating Grand Prix event held in July. Spend quality time with your loved ones at 9 Kingfisher Lakes in Northampton.
