Historical Farmhouse In 6 Acres Of Grounds With Games Rooms And Modern Amenities, Brackley

Northamptonshire. Sleeps up to 8

Fulwell House is a happy blend of the modern and the traditional. A brand new kitchen/dining area at the heart of the house, together with new bathrooms (two en-suite and one family), four good-sized bedrooms (2 king-size with en-suite, one queen-sized and a twin) complement an old farmhouse in a historic property mentioned in the Domesday Book.

Fulwell House once was the site of a monastic grange until the time of Henry VIII. It is an ideal home for groups to gather or to just meet up with family and friends. The present farmhouse – or part of it – was the brewhouse for the monks. The Corbett family has lived here since 1970.

The farmhouse enjoys wonderful views and amazing sunrise/sunsets. The beautiful countryside setting has six acres of mown fenced parkland for you to enjoy with picnics, rounders and games.

For those seeking action - Indoor table tennis, golf course, horse riding, pony trekking and fishing nearby, great walking and cycling routes.
For relaxing - Bicester Village retail therapy, beauty salon and historic houses and gardens.
Our WEEKEND rate includes a late afternoon check out on Sunday.

Located in Brackley, this farm stay is in a rural area and on a lake. Bletchley Park and Xscape are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Hook Norton Brewery and Woburn Golf Club. Traveling with kids? Consider Planet Ice, or check out an event or a game at Silverstone Circuit. Fishing and swimming offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and cycling nearby.
