High Mill - Four Bedroom House, Sleeps 10, Beadnell

Northumberland. Sleeps up to 10

Set in the hamlet of Tughall Steads and part of a small collection of holiday cottages, this spacious barn conversion is surrounded by lush green farmland and just a few minutes drive from some beautiful sandy beaches and of course the sea. The nearest coastal villages are Beadnell or Newton by the Sea. Bamburgh is also close by, just a short drive to the North, famous for its castle. The small fishing village of Craster is a little way to the south, well known for smoked kippers. There is a wealth of things to do and see in the local area.
A cavernous, state-of-the-art kitchen easily holds all the family and the large farmhouse style table in the middle is a lovely place to sit and sip a glass of wine while you’re waiting for a pot to boil on the range. A games room will keep some of the younger family members amused, and maybe even some of the older ones too! Then when the evening draws to a close, settle down in the living room on one of the comfortable sofas and watch the flames flicker in the fireplace. Throughout the house, exposed beams remind you of the property’s origin as an old farm building and upstairs from the main bedrooms, enjoys views across the farmlands from full length glass windows.
