Seahouses is a traditional harbour village with an array of restaurants, pubs and shops on your doorstep. Bamburgh Castle is just 2 miles north with the expanse of golden sands and Alnwick is just 14 miles away where you can visit the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens.

Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
