The Steadings is a characterful accommodation resting a few miles away from Rothbury. It houses five bedrooms, comprising of two king-size with en-suites, two doubles and a twin, together sleeping up to ten people. On the first-floor there is a bathroom with a bath, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC, as well as a ground-floor cloakroom. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, as well as a utility, and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. Outside, there is a private garden area with furniture and off-road parking for three cars. The Steadings is a wonderful base for exploring the rural location.

Town: The capital of Coquetdale, Rothbury lies on the north bank of the famous salmon and trout river, the Coquet, and is dominated by the heather clad Simonside Hills. It is an attractive, small market town and its proximity to Northumberland’s National Park ensures excellent local walking. Stone houses, typical of the region, line the town’s steep main streets and there is a good range of shops on offer. With a golf course, public tennis courts and cycle hire close by and a variety of great houses and gardens to explore, including Cragside, Alnwick Castle (home of the Duke of Northumberland), Wallington Hall and a host of famous castles, this great location has plenty to offer. Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Reservoir and Forest and the sandy beaches and dunes of the coast are also within easy driving distance.

This cottage is located in Morpeth. Cragside and Brinkburn Priory are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Northumberland National Park and Northumberland Coast. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling.
