This modern, bright, contemporary apartment has beautiful views over the sea and towards St Mary’s Lighthouse to one side and to the right views to the Spanish City Dome, set in a prime location in this seaside town “The Sands” has everything you need for a relaxing break by the sea. Step out of your door, leave your car behind, and be mesmerised by the iconic Spanish City, regenerated in 2018 but originally built in 1910, this gorgeous space is home to a selection of eating places including a champagne bar on the top floor taking in the views of one of the local beaches. The England Coastal Path runs within 150 yards of the property and the beautiful, regenerated promenade is an absolute delight taking in all The Links from St Mary’s Lighthouse to the Spanish City, you can walk all the way along to Tynemouth along the seafront, a glorious stroll for all ages and abilities.
The Sands holiday home is perfect for exploring the bespoke shops and cafés along this stretch of coastline and is an ideal location for spoiling yourself with a few drinks and local food in one of the many local restaurants and bistros. The local metro stop is in Whitley Bay and is ideal if you want to visit Newcastle upon Tyne or even Tynemouth if you don’t want to walk or drive. Whitley Bay also has a playhouse with shows every week. Waves Swimming Pool, mini golf, plenty of ice cream and fish and chips, as well as fine dining and locally sourced food. Nearby North Shields is home to “The Fish Quay” where you can see the days catch sold at one of the fish markets or visit one of the fine fish restaurants along the front.
Tynemouth is a surfer’s paradise and even has its own surf shop and café. The location of this fabulous holiday home allows you easy access to all the top tourist attractions in Northumberland and indeed in the Northeast of England.
