The busy village centre offers an impressive range of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, fish and chip shops, crazy golf and amusement arcades. Boat trips go out to the spectacular Farne Islands, home to a range of exciting wildlife, including grey seals and an array of bird species including puffins. Nearby are the pretty village of Bamburgh and the market town of Alnwick, both with magnificent castles to visit. You can also take a boat trip out to Holy Island, home of the famous Lindisfarne Priory and Castle. On entering this beautiful triple level holiday property, go up to the second floor. Here you will find the tastefully furnished and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of comfy seating, TV, DVD and CD/radio, the attractive lounge is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day out. From the main living area, patio doors lead out onto a small balcony with a patio table and seating for 2 overlooking the courtyard below and offering stunning views of the harbour, Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle.
