Located in the North Sunderland area of Seahouses, just a half mile walk from the heart of the village s bustling centre with a wide range of shops, pubs, and restaurants for all the family. Book a boat trip from the harbour to the Farne Islands to catch a glimpse of the local birds and sea life, including puffins from April to August. Walk the coastal path to visit Bamburgh s impressive castle, village shops, restaurants, and the Grace Darling Museum all within a 3.5 mile radius. Cross the causeway at low tide to Holy Island for scenic walks, fascinating history, and to sample the local mead. Play golf in Seahouses, learn water sports at Beadnell Bay, or walk to Low Newton and Embleton with views towards Dunstanburgh Castle (10 miles). Access this welcoming, well equipped property is via the garden path and through the front door to a small hallway where you can leave outdoor shoes and coats. Head into the bright and airy open plan lounge/diner with dual aspect windows. The bathroom comprises a bath with a shower over the bath and next to this is a separate WC room. Outside, the front garden is enclosed with a garden gate and is set back from the road. There is a useful bench seat where you can sit down to put on your walking boots. The rear, enclosed garden has a decked area with outdoor dining furniture for enjoying alfresco meals and there is also garden seating and a low table to relax with a drink and extend your days outside in the fresh air (please note table and chairs are put away into storage over the winter months). There is on street parking for one car in front of the cottage, plus additional free parking nearby.
