For a cool glamping getaway, why not explore your sense of adventure and embrace the great outdoors. Just 4 miles from the glorious golden sands of Cheswick With one king size bed (5’ x 6’ 3”) and full size single bunk beds (3’ x 6’ 3”), Foxglove can accommodate up to four guests. To maximise space, bunk beds cleverly convert to bench seating for day time use. The hut features a small galley kitchen area with an electric two ring hob, a microwave combination oven, under-counter fridge, toaster and kettle, and a DAB radio. There is an extendable dining table for up to four guests. A large raised deck with ramp access has been designed to support the needs of mobility impaired guests, and just off the kitchen is a wet room with electric shower, basin and WC. For the cooler months the hut is super-insulated, and has electric tubular heating. Guests can also hire Colin, a cute retro caravan at £20 per night (subject to availability) where the younger members of the family can have their own little mini adventure - a fun den for day use but set-up for sleeping capacity too! Two dogs are welcome and there are kennels on site if required. Horses are welcome with prior notice. There is grazing and stabling available on site at additional cost. Foxglove sits alongside two further huts, Cow Parsley and Teasel, each sleeping up to four guests which are ideal for larger parties who wish to holiday together. GROUND FLOOR Accommodating four guests with one king size bed (5’ x 6’ 3”) and full size single bunk beds (3’ x 6’ 3”). To maximise space, the double bunk converts to seating for day time use. The hut features a galley kitchen with an electric two ring hob, a microwave combination oven, under-counter fridge, toaster, kettle, and DAB radio. There is an extendable dining table for up to four guests. Wet room with electric shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC. Bathroom aids for mobility restricted guests can be provided on request. OUTSIDE Foxglove sits in a paddock with two further shepherd’s huts, Teasel and Cow Parsley, each sleeping up to four guests. There is a picnic table and garden furniture, and a fire pit can be made available on request. PARKING No vehicle access is permitted in the paddock where the shepherd’s huts are located. Parking sits to the left of the farm entrance which is approximately 50 yards from the site entrance. Separate parking provision is available at Fox Glove for guests with mobility impairment. BABIES & CHILDREN Foxglove is not particularly suited to babies and young infants. The inner paddock where the shepherd’s hut is located is fully enclosed, however the adjoining field has a pond and younger children will require supervision around this area. Guests can also hire Colin, a cutesy retro caravan at £20 per night (subject to availability) where the younger members of the family can have their own little mini adventure - a fun den for day use but set-up for sleeping capacity too! DOGS Two dogs are permitted. Dogs must be clean and dry before access into the hut and must be kept off the beds. An outside tap is available. The inner paddock where the hut is located is fully enclosed. There is a separate outside kennel available for use by guests. GUEST AMENITIES Bed linen, towels and guest toiletries are provided. A hair dryer is supplied. WI-FI Satellite Wi-Fi is very intermittent and an alternative solution is being explored. Mobile reception is generally good. HEATING The hut has electric tubular heating. GUEST PRIVACY & ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION The paddock is shared with two other shepherd’s huts, Teasel and Cow Parsley with a wide open aspect across the adjoining field. WATER SUPPLY Water is from a private supply borehole and is suitable for drinking.
