Built on a hillside Humbleton is set out on two levels, a small spiral staircase from the sitting area takes you to the sun room with a desk and chair, French doors lead out to a small patio area where you can sit back and relax and just take in the amazing views of the valley below. Two comfortable bedrooms are on the lower level and both have beautiful floor to ceiling windows making them light, airy and inviting. The large bathroom is also on the lower level and has a spacious corner shower room with travertine tiles and feature basin. To the front of the cottage there is a charming walled garden with lawned area, perfect for alfresco dining or even just relaxing with a good book and enjoying the countryside, as the day draws to a close, take time to sit quietly and gaze at the stars, with little light pollution in the area this is an amazing location to watch the sky come to life. The village of Haydon Bridge, and the market towns of Haltwhistle, Corbridge and Hexham are close to this Northumberland cottage, and are well worth exploring. Just a little further afield are Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Water, Northumberland National Park, Alnwick Castle and gardens, and the magnificent Heritage Coastline.
