Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Felton is a charming village in rural Northumberland, situated between Morpeth and Alnwick, respectively. The community boasts a post office, coffee shop, bar, and restaurant, and is a short way from Alnwick Castle and its now-famous Garden, which has Europe's biggest flowing water feature, an immense tree house, a rose garden, and an attractive walled garden, among other attractions. Alnwick has a diverse range of shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as lots to see and do, including miles of golden sand beaches, castles and boat tours to the Farne Islands.
Located in Morpeth, this lodge is in a rural area and on a lake. Alnwick Playhouse and Bailiffgate Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Brinkburn Priory and Alnwick Castle. Eshott Heugh Animal Park and Lilidorei at The Alnwick Garden are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with rock climbing, hiking, and cycling.
