Steading is a beautifully restored farm building located near the ancient village of Bewick, in Northumberland, North of England. This charming holiday cottage accommodates up to six guests and is ideally situated just three miles from the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed and ten miles from the scenic Holy Island. With stunning views over the countryside, Steading offers a tranquil retreat while being conveniently close to local amenities, including a pub just 1.5 miles away and a variety of shops and eateries in Berwick.

The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, complete with an electric Rangemaster stove and an arched window that enhances the space with natural light. Accommodations include a double bedroom with a 5ft bed and an en-suite bathroom, as well as two twin bedrooms located on the first floor. The living room, also on the first floor, boasts a multi-fuel stove and picturesque views, while a separate bathroom features a freestanding bath, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The property is adorned with feature beams throughout, contributing to its rustic charm.

Guests can enjoy a range of amenities during their stay, including electricity, electric radiators, bed linen, towels, and a travel cot and high chair for families. Entertainment options include Freeview TV and a DVD player, while the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances such as a microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a fridge/freezer. Outside, visitors can relax in a small enclosed terraced garden with furniture, as well as a courtyard garden, with ample parking available for up to three cars. The property maintains a no smoking policy for the comfort of all guests.

Steading serves as an excellent base for outdoor activities and exploration, with opportunities for hill walking in the nearby Cheviots and riding available just 550 yards away. Additionally, guests can indulge in sea fishing from Eyemouth or diving in Coldingham. For those interested in marine life, boat trips to the Farne Islands can be taken from Seahouses. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at Goswick, located eight miles away, while history buffs can explore the historic houses and gardens at Alnwick, Bamburgh, and Paxton. The sandy beach at Scremerston is also a short three-mile drive away, offering a perfect spot for relaxation and leisure.
