Alnmouth is a fantastic coastal town housing the estuary at the mouth of the River Aln, a great spot for wildlife and scenic walks, as well as a fantastic sandy beach ideal for watersports and wild swimming. Alnmouth offers a selection of eateries where you can enjoy a hot meal, as well as a local golf course, access to the England Coast Path leading from Amble to Bamburgh, and a local gallery. Travel a little further and you can explore the wonderful historic market town of Alnwick, where there are riverside walks through Hulne Park, many independent shops, tasty eateries and last but certainly not least, the incredible Alnwick Castle.
