The Byre offers outstanding holiday accommodation for eight guests looking for a touch of luxury in a lovely seaside location. Interiors are sociable and spacious with open plan living, perfect for a celebration get together with family and friends at any time of year… the underfloor heating keeps the property cosy whatever the season.
This eco friendly cottage has a wonderful courtyard and garden with uninterrupted sea views towards the Farne Islands. It’s just a short walk into the village of Seahouses for local shops, pubs and cafes and the beach is within easy reach too… about a mile away.
Byre is a great base for exploring this beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.
