Head to the beach at Beadnell Bay the long stretch of sand is perfect for a bucket and spade holiday. This is the Heritage coast, well known for excellent sailing, fishing and wind surfing. This is an excellent area for walking with many coastal walks taking in views of dramatic cliff top ruins including Dunstanburgh Castle. Beyond the Castle is Craster, a picturesque village famous for kippers and other smoked delicacies. A variety of seabirds and grey seal colonies can be observed on the Farne Islands by taking a boat trip from Seahouses, just 2 miles away.

Entertainment: Wi-fi (due to size of house & stone walls - restricted coverage to Kitchen, lounge area), large flat screen TV, DVD player and piano (drawing room). TV with Freeview and DVD (study), radio/CD player (kitchen), bookcase and library of books, magazines and local information.
For families: travel cot, no mattress, linen or towels for infant supplied, high chair can be hired - please enquire at time of booking.
Outside: Property is surrounded by woodland and paddock, enclosed courtyard with large circular teak table and bench, barbeque, front garden and woodland arboretum. The front paddock is “out of bounds” as leased to a local farmer for grazing.
Parking : Parking for 4 cars.
General: WiFi (restricted coverage). Bedding (duvets per bed & 2 pillows per person), bed linen, towels (hand & bath sheet per person, plus bathroom hand towels). October-March initial supply of logs, kindling & matches. Oil for central heating and water.
Welcome pack: tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a sweet treat.
Pets : As of May 2023, dogs will no longer be accepted on new bookings. Current bookings with dogs will be honoured.
Please note: The property is NOT available to stag, hen or diving parties. No smoking. House price is for up to 8 people using the four 1st floor bedrooms. Use of attic bedroom must be registered on booking at a nominal charge of £25, but the maximum occupancy must not exceed 8 persons. Front paddock is leased to a local farmer for grazing stock. Due to the character of the building and the antiques on display, a £500 Accidental Damage Deposit or £50 Accidental Damage Deposit waiver is required.
