This gorgeous traditional style stone cottage sits in a conservation area and is one of just 10 new properties built within the borders of this historic estate, which has been owned by the same family for over 200 years. The house is just a 10 minute drive from Alnwick, a market town with lots of attractions including the Alnwick Gardens and Castle, which features in the Harry Potter films. If you are lucky enough to be in the area at the right time, there is a traditional market square with farmer's markets and on certain dates, food festivals!
When you step out the door of the cottage, you will find yourself in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside with farmland all around and some wonderful walks - make a reasonable trek to the next village, Rennington, where you will find a quaint little pub to enjoy a cold pint.
Inside, there is fresh country decor, a cosy living room with a real wood burning fire set in a stone fireplace, a great spot to relax on a chilly evening. Outside is a wendy house and children’s play area, as well as a dining area to sit in the sun, you can even see the sea glinting in the distance over the fields.
