Alternative spaces to socialise include a snug, a sunroom and a games room complete with a 3-in-1 games table, perfect for kids (and big kids!) to get away from it all. The wraparound gardens are a particular feature and lend themselves to spending lots of time alfresco with loads of space to explore and an attractive patio area where guests can chill out and relax. Attractions in the area worth visiting include Hadrian’s Wall, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands and Alnwick Gardens. Other beaches nearby worth packing a bucket and spade for include Alnmouth, Cresswell, Embleton and Newton Haven.
