Attractions in the area worth visiting include Hadrian’s Wall, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands and Alnwick Gardens. Other beaches nearby worth packing a bucket and spade for include Alnmouth, Cresswell, Embleton and Newton Haven.
