Originally built over 160 years ago, The Pump House Art Studio is a special and unique, Grade II* listed property. Formerly a working pump house, used to drain excess water from the The Mother Drain, dug in 1790, into The River Idle, it has been transformed into a stunning, contemporary art studio and holiday let. Settled in the village of Misterton in northern Nottinghamshire, The Pump House Art Studio is one of two identical buildings, named by the Victorians Kate and Ada, one being the owners' home, each with dramatic chimney stacks and connected by a beautiful glass walkway over the water.
