Orkney is a group of islands situated a few miles off the North East tip of mainland Scotland, perfect for exploring the stunning rugged coastlines, with stone pinnacles rising out of the sea, deserted white sandy beaches and turquoise seas. Keep a look out for inquisitive seals, you may even spot some orcas and dolphins. The area has inspired many artists, musicians and writers over the centuries. There are so many sites of archaeological interest from prehistoric villages, ancient tombs, ruined palaces and standing stones. You might even feel like Indiana Jones by the end of the day. There are perfect opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing, water sports or a round of golf at one of the local golf courses. Stepping inside the front hallway of this delightful property, you will find a handy storage cupboard for your outdoor clothing and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Follow into the comfortable lounge/diner with dining table and chairs to enjoy your meals together, after a day out exploring you can relax to read a book or watch the TV/DVD. From the lounge you will find the stylish, well equipped kitchen perfect for cooking up meals, with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. From the kitchen there is also a door leading out to the side patio. When the day is done retire via stairs from the hallway to first floor, where you will find the bedroom with super king size zip and link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request), TV and en suite WC. Heading back outside there is a paved patio with seating area, perfect for a morning coffee. The lane to the property is narrow and the turning is tight, so the parking for the property is for 1 small car, alternative parking is 1 minute drive away or a 3 minute walk.
