Great Tew, often described as one of the prettiest villages in England is full of attractive thatched cottages and has an excellent pub and a village shop. The bustling town of Chipping Norton offers many unique shops and real ale pubs as well as art galleries and a theatre, and many enjoyable walks start in the town with Shakespeare's Way passing through the centre. Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all close by or alternatively, take a trip to the riverside town of Banbury, Blenheim Palace or the university city of Oxford. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick with its magnificent castle, also make great family days out. A lovely cottage to be enjoyed all year round.
