On the outskirts of Oxford, there s so much to see and do in the area that you re in a prime position to discover as much as possible during your holiday. Walk the streets of the university city to uncover multiple museums and a seemingly endless supply of shops and pubs, or go for a punt down the river to admire the scenery from the water. There is an abundance of public transport for you to venture out and explore other nearby towns and attractions; the home of Shakespeare, Stratford Upon Avon, is within easy reach of the city, or head to the Cotswold Wildlife Park near Burford for a fun day out for the whole family. Set across a single storey, this homely property was once just a workshop, but was transformed in 2013 into a superb holiday cottage that is now perfect for a family trip. Unwind as you enter the shabby chic designed accommodation, into the living space: an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Take a seat on the comfortable soft furnishings and watch something on the TV/DVD, or pull up a chair at the dining table to seat four ready to enjoy a home cooked meal. The kitchen is well equipped for your break, comprising of an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box,and washing machine. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, the room decorated to create a tranquil retreat for the end of your day, and another with an adult size bunk bed with a pull out bed located under bottom bunk if required. The shower room has a shower cubicle and WC. There is plenty of space outside for children to run around (although please be aware there is a stream along the border), and a treehouse that they re sure to love. The large decking area to the front of the property is ideal for BBQs or to simply enjoy the rural setting, and should you require extra sleeping arrangements, there is room for a few small tents on the large lawn. There is ample parking available.
