There is a regular direct bus service from Wolvercote into Oxford city, otherwise there is a lovely three mile walk along the River Thames and through Port Meadow to Oxford city.

Within walking distance you have The Trout Inn which is a gastropub situated on the banks of the River Thames. Jacobs Inn is also within walking distance which services delicious home cooked food. The walk along the River Thames through Port Meadow into Oxford is a wonderful experience, as are walks along the nearby Oxford Canal.
