Oxford Country Cottages is a series of luxury 4* Gold self-catering cottages on Lower Farm at the end of the Cotswold village of Noke, a secluded country retreat with the 1000 acre RSPB Otmoor reserve as our neighbour and all just five miles from Oxford centre and Bicester centre. One, two and three bedroom cottages sleeping up to 24 in total and available for holidays and business short lets throughout the year.
Oxford Country Cottages are four single story cottages all located within 50 yards of each other in a stunning and tranquil courtyard garden, featuring our Jacuzzi Hot Tub, a Wendy House full of toys for the Children with no passing traffic and a small but well stocked farm shop. Beautifully converted from farm buildings, the cottages combine farmhouse character and comfort with discreet modern essentials. We have a 4* Gold award from Visit England and a Green Tourism ‘Gold’ award for our consideration to the environment with all of our cottages being heated by our Biomass Boiler, electricity provided by our 50KW Solar Panel System and have access to 1 Gigabit pure fibre optic broadband, the fastest Internet access in the world! We have recently built a beautiful Outdoor Heated Pool, which is available for guests to use from April through to October, from Monday to Friday and between the hours of 10am-Midday and between 2pm and 4pm.

Here at Lower Farm we are avid Animal lovers and have grown our Menagerie over the years to now boast Chickens, Ducks, Kune Kune Pigs, and Resident Horses and Foals, alongside our household pets! We would be delighted to introduce the Animal team to anyone who is interested and Children seem to be particularly enthralled by this experience!
Teal Cottage has recently been refurbished and offers spacious, luxurious, light and airy accomodation. The open plan living area provides a wonderful space to entertain in with the Wood-Fired burner giving a welcoming, cosy cottage feel! Teal Cottage sleeps up to six people in two separate en suite Bedrooms. The master bedroom features a superking double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds that can be made into a superking and an additional adult bunk bed. Both bedrooms are huge and light and airy. Both bedrooms have large en suites with Baths and seperate shower cubicles. We also provide a selection of ‘Faith In Nature’ toiletries for you to indulge in during your stay!
There is plenty of room for a travel cot in either bedroom which can be provided free of charge on request along with a high chair. We also provide a selection of adult and childrens’ books for you to enjoy in the cottage, in addition to a wide selection of DVD's being available in the Farmhouse and plenty of boardgames for you to borrow in the Farm Shop, along with several left for you to enjoy in the cupboard under the TV.
The Cottage has a large, open-plan living/dining areas with a well equipped kitchen. There are comfy sofas, farmhouse dining tables and chunky, wooden English furniture throughout. There is free, ultrafast WiFi (wireless broadband Internet), an LCD TV with Freeview, a DVD and Bluetooth stereo.
Located in Oxford, this cottage is in a rural area. Bicester Village and Covered Market are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cotswolds and Wittenham Clumps. Traveling with kids? Consider Oxford Greyhound Stadium, or check out an event or a game at Court Place Farm Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
