This gorgeous West Wales holiday home has lots of character with a wealth of original features such as exposed brick walls, high vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams. The farmhouse combines contemporary comfort and high-end fittings with vintage features such as stone fireplace, oak ledge & brace doors, oak floors and reclaimed & restored cast iron radiators. There is wifi available too.
This property has both a living room and a lounge, therefore ideal for having a separate grown up living space. The lounge has a wood burning stove and 3 sofas, one of which a double sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen is finished to a high standard and perfect for cooking large meals. It is equipped with everything needed, including a separate fridge and freezer, microwave, large range cooker with 2 ovens and dishwasher. The spacious and bright dining room has a large oak dining table sitting up to 12 guests. The bedrooms are decorated in keeping with the character of the property with vintage style fabrics and accessories.
There are two 6-seater picnic tables on the private terrace, perfect for meals in the sunshine.
Targate Farm is a great property for large group holidays or family visits to Pembrokeshire and an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the area, and its fantastic sandy beaches are a mere 20 minutes away. Targate Farm is also perfect for enjoying a quiet, relaxing break or making the most of the walking, horse riding or cycling opportunities offered by the rural surroundings. The area is steeped in history with many well preserved castles. Oakwood Theme Park, Tenby and St David's Cathedral are all within reach along with all the attractions of the Pembrokeshire National Park with stunning coastal walks and views. There is a whole range of activities for all the family within 5 minutes, with a nine hole Golf courses, a driving range, Moor Farm Equestrian Centre and Puddle Dock Fly & Coarse fishing. You can also go zorbing, surfing, paddle boarding, and even charter boats.
Located in Haverfordwest, this farm stay is in a rural area. Town Museum and Torch Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Picton Castle & Gardens and Roch Castle. Traveling with kids? Consider Milford Haven Heritage & Maritime Museum and Hilton Court Gardens.
