The property itself has a storied past, originally built as two houses around 1275 and later converted into various commercial establishments, including a pub and wine bar. After falling into disrepair, it was meticulously renovated by the current owners starting in 2011, during which they discovered hidden children's shoes believed to be good luck charms, as well as a vaulted cellar that has since been restored.
