Continue on to Pembroke, where you can explore the historic delights of Pembroke Museum, Monkton Old Hall and the grand Pembrokeshire Castle with a Great Keep offering glorious views over the town and Mill Pond. Further afield, you will find Carmarthen, home to its own superb castle which overlooks the River Towy, as well as the remains of a former workhouse and the nostalgic Gwili Steam Railway.
