The Barn features a lovingly renovated interior that combines traditional charm with modern comforts. It boasts Pembrokeshire slate floors equipped with underfloor heating, as well as oak beams and doors that enhance its rustic appeal. Positioned at the end of a no-through road, the cottage provides a tranquil environment for guests. The nearby Cleddau Bridge connects north and south Pembrokeshire, making it a convenient base for exploring the region’s attractions, including Carew Castle and the picturesque countryside filled with walking paths.
Accommodation at The Barn includes two bedrooms, accommodating up to three guests, with one double and one single bed. The layout includes some ground floor accommodation, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility. The upstairs bedroom features a double bed with an en suite bathroom that has a roll-top bath, while the downstairs bedroom includes a single bed and an en suite shower room. The living area is cozy, featuring comfortable seating, a TV, and an oil-fired wood burner effect heater, creating a warm atmosphere.
The kitchen and dining area are well-equipped with modern appliances, including an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, and microwave, along with a dining table that seats four. Outside, guests can enjoy a private decked garden complete with seating for al fresco dining.
