Come and unwind at Badger Lodge nestled on the cliff tops in a truly wonderful location. Near the hamlet of Burton, overlooking the picture postcard Cleddau Estuary with ever changing views across the tidal estuary. There is lots of birdlife, wildlife and a host of boats and yachts coming and going. Enjoy a glass of wine from your hot tub where you can take in those sublime views or take in the vista with an early morning coffee from your decked seating area and catch the sunrise - it’s also the perfect spot to dine al fresco.
For the more adventurous, 200 yards away is Rudders Boatyard where you can launch your own (or hired) paddle boards, kayaks, or a boat (prior notice required and fees may apply). Or for a more relaxing morning, enjoy a walk along the owner’s private cliff top walk which leads down to the estuary shoreline (the walk is not fenced and steep in places and can be slippery, care to be taken). The local pub and restaurant is a 15-minute walk away to enjoy a spot of lunch. Locally brewed ales and fresh seafood is always on the menu. The Pembrokeshire Coast footpath is also close by.
This spacious lodge is flooded with natural sunlight and boasts an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with French doors leading out to your large, decked seating area. The well-equipped kitchen is designed around those stunning views and includes a breakfast bar. Each bedroom boasts kingsize zip and link beds which can be twin beds on request. After a cosy night in watching your favourite movie, you can soak in the bath; even the bathroom enjoys those amazing estuary views. The outside area here really is superb, with a large, decked area with amazing views and gas barbecue leading to a lawned area with hot tub and firepit (hot tub ready morning after arrival as it is sanitised, emptied and refilled after each booking and needs to re heat).
The historic town of Pembroke is a ten-minute drive away and made famous for its medieval castle and the birth of King Henry the VII. It is well worth the visit to step back in time and take in the glorious views around the mill pond and the town. Travelling further south you can reach the National Trust run Stackpole Estate where you take a stroll through Bosherston lily ponds and out to Broadhaven South Beach. Be sure to visit Barafundle Bay, one of the Europe’s most stunning beaches too. Locally there is a selection of family attractions all within a short drive, including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor House Wildlife Park.

Located in Milford Haven, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Mayfield Golf & Driving Range and The Spa at Celtic Haven are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Upton Castle Gardens and Milford Haven Heritage & Maritime Museum. Manor House Zoo and Heatherton World of Activities are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
