Cottage In West Wales, Tenby

Pembrokeshire Coast. Sleeps up to 4

This fantastic property, located just half a mile from the historic centre of Tenby which becomes completely pedestrianised during July and August, is the ideal place for a getaway where you can indulge yourself in some relaxation but still be within walking distance of an exciting seaside resort. Head up to the ruins of Tenby Castle (0.5 miles) for fantastic views of the islands of St Catharine or Caldey or go back in time at the Tudor Merchant s House. Further afield, children will love a day out at the Dinosaur Park (2.5 miles) or Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (6 miles), followed by a peaceful walk at Colby Woodland Garden (8 miles). As soon as you walk up to the property, you ll be able to see that its original 1800s charm has been retained in a tasteful, contemporary manner. The bright and airy open plan living area has comfortable sofas surrounding a wood burner effect electric fire and TV, while a large dining table and chairs sits by a window letting in lots of natural light. The kitchen has a country style feel with earthy coloured tiles and white units, and you ll find an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Up the staircase, which is thought to have been made from an old ship s mast, there are two bedrooms one of which has access to the outside balcony . The first is a king size room with plenty of storage space for clothes, while the second room boasts a double. Shiny white tiles and a roof window in the bathroom ensure it s filled with light, and you ll find a shower over the bath here. Outside, there is a small, gravelled garden at the front and parking for a small car to the side of the property; pedestrian access to the property behind must be maintained.
