Pack your swimming trunks, buckets and spades and head to the glorious sands of Newport Beach, where you can paddle the shores, relax in the sunshine with your favourite book, or grab a bite to eat from the nearby café. Nearby, is the fascinating Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, where you can explore historic roundhouses set in a scenic 30-acres of parkland. If you have whet your appetite for history, be sure to visit the Pentre Ifan burial chamber where you will find the fascinating remains of a Neolithic tomb.
