This lovely colonial house, with contemporary features, has great sea views and is in a quiet location just 150 yards from the beach at Cwm yr Eglwys. Both Fishguard Bay and Newport Bay can be seen from the bungalow. Cwm yr Eglwys - Valley of the Church - takes its name from the ruins of St Brynach’s church, which was destroyed over time by storms. The hamlet and its beach are at one end of Dinas Head, between Newport and Fishguard, on the north Pembrokeshire coast. It is a perfect spot for children to enjoy and from where to walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. From the property, you can walk around Dinas Head, which has been voted an AA Walk of the Year, or you can walk through woodland behind the headland to another beach at Pwllgwaelod, just half a mile away. There, as well as the beach, you will find The Old Sailors pub and restaurant. Nearby Dinas Cross has two pubs, two shops, a garage and a fish & chip shop. There is also a children’s play area and at the further end of the village, a tearoom. A short drive will take you to the seaside market town of Newport, which has a selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as local shops and galleries and a weekly local producers market.
