Neighbourhood overview
Easy access to many local attractions such as Bluestone, Oakwood, Folly Farm, Heatherton, Pembrokeshire Wake Park, Battlefield Live, the Dinosaur Park or enjoy boat trips to the islands of Caldey or Skomer.

Why try a relaxing stroll around Saundersfoot, Tenby or Narberth with their boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, galleries, and craft shops. Or venture along the coast to the exquisite coves and beaches at Lydstep, Manorbier, Stackpole, Barafundle, Broadhaven, Freshwater West, Angle, or my personal favourite; Swanlake. If you enjoy stretching your legs there are 186 miles of Pembrokeshire’s outstanding coastal path to explore; encompassing Blue Flag beaches, awesome seascapes, and secret coves. The picturesque walled town of Tenby, and the glorious beaches at Amroth and Wisemans Bridge are less than 5 miles away. Venture a little further and find out why Bosherston Lily ponds, and Broadhaven and Barafundle beaches attract international recognition. Charlwood makes a great base for discovering Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier Castles, or the peaceful grounds of Lamphey Palace and St David's Cathedral. Younger guests may find the thrilling attractions of Folly Farm, Bluestone, Anna’s Welsh Zoo, Pembrokeshire Wake Park, Heatherton, Oakwood, and the Dinosaur Park difficult to choose between.
Very active? Charlwood also offers a superb base for activity holidays. If you are training for Ironman, or triathlons, enjoy wakeboarding, sailing, coasteering, swimming, running, kitesurfing, climbing, golf, diving, kayaking, quad biking, mountain biking, cycling, canoeing, stand-up-paddle boarding then Pembrokeshire is the place to try them out, or increase your skills. The property has ample parking for 3-4 cars or dinghies/boat trailers/dive boats. There are also boat launch, storage, and recovery options at Saundersfoot Harbour and other nearby facilities.

Getting around
Bus stop at the end of the road and a train station within a mile. If you are thinking of arriving by train or coach then we can advise you of local taxi contact details.
