The facilities are very straightforward and simple to use. Heating and hot water is all on Auto, set to come on for a few hours in the morning and evening. This seems to work fine for most guests but please let me know if it does not. There is a thermostat in the lower hallway near the bathroom that can be adjusted to your liking.
There is super-fast Wi-Fi, the password for which is on the back of the router on the right as you enter the house.
The kitchen is very self-explanatory and fitted with a double oven, fridge freezer, microwave and white goods. There's a Nespresso machine, bread maker, juicer and a raclette cheese grill. All food, drinks, coffee, sweets you find there are complimentary so please help yourself.
Please note that the patio doors in the kitchen have to remain locked for safety and security reasons.
All beds come with linen and there should be plenty of towels for your stay. If you run low on towels at any stage, or need linen replaced, please let us know and we can get some new ones delivered.
You do not need to clean the property, but there are cleaning products, hoover, brushes etc which you can use if you wish. There's a full set of white goods and drying racks as well.
We try to recycle as much as possible. If you could put recyclables in the Blue bin in the house and outside. Non-recyclables in the green bins in the house and outside. There is a separate box for glass. The large brown bin outside is for compostables. Bin day is Friday, if you could leave them out that would be appreciated, but not expected.
Doggies are very welcome, but please keep them on the ground floor. The utility room off the kitchen is perfect. You should find bowls in the cupboard if you have forgotten your own ones. We can install a stairgate to stop dogs going upstairs if needed, please just let us know.
