When you travel over the tidal causeway to the Holy Island, past the sand dunes and beaches of the Northumberland Coast this wonderful little island awaits with heaps of character and charm. Having been completely upgraded throughout in 2019 to a good standard, this terraced cottage, with its own private garden, is right in the centre of the village with all the shops and amenities almost on the doorstep.
The ground floor provides a dining kitchen with high spec utilities and a gorgeous living room with a wood burner and a simply stunning view over the typical cottage garden towards Lindisfarne Castle, a National Trust property. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the other can be used as either a twin or double making this cottage the perfect option for couples, friends or small families. The bathroom in this property is breath-taking. The freestanding bath might as well shout at you with instructions to get in it immediately, even the shower has a rainfall shower head.
There is a quality sofa bed in the living room which can provide an additional double bed if required. It is clear to see the level of attention to detail and care that the owners have put into this wonderful property, making it the perfect choice for a holiday retreat. Beach 250 yards.
