The property is located in the charming fishing village of Burnmouth on one of the Scottish Great Trail coastal path walks, with an operational harbour where working boats land their daily catches. The village lies just 3 miles from the sandy beaches in Eyemouth and 7 miles from St Abbs with its own pretty harbour, a nature reserve to explore, clifftop walks and lobster and crab fishing boats bringing home fresh produce for you to try locally. Berwick upon Tweed is just 6 miles south into Northumberland and with a good range of independent shops and restaurants, the weekly market and seaside. From here you can also drive down to visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle and beyond. Enter this quirky property via steps into the porch, a perfect place to store your outdoor gear, coats and boots. Heading inside you enter the light and airy open plan kitchen/diner fully equipped with an integrated double electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, health fryer and coffee machine. There is also an island with bar stools where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The open plan dining area makes a super addition for special family meals with the added value of watching the waves in the sea and the world go by. This cottage has all the things you will find at home and more making this a truly home from home staycation, including picnicware and beach towels which can be taken with you as you explore the very pretty Burnmouth Bay and even hot water bottles for the cooler evenings! Next to the kitchen and accessed via three steps is a utility room with a washing machine, you will also find a bathroom opposite with a shower over bath and WC. From the dining area, take five steps down into the cosy lounge where you will find a warming wood burner, comfortable seating and a Smart TV, an ideal space to relax after a busy day exploring the area. The oak staircase situated in the middle of the kitchen/dining space leads down to the lower ground floor where you will find two of the three bedrooms, a super king size with Smart TV and the second bedroom with a feature fireplace, a triple comprising a small double and 1 single bed plus Smart TV. A shower room with WC is located next to this bedroom. A second staircase situated in the lounge area takes you down to the third bedroom, a twin, along with Smart TV. There is also another shower room and WC next to this bedroom. Venturing outside, you will discover a tiered garden with seating and a BBQ, where you can enjoy family meal times on the large outdoor table whilst taking in the beautiful sea views, or venture to the upper part of the garden with hillside views, a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Parking is available on the drive way for 1 car. Please consider that this property is at the foot of a very steep hill and there are many steps in this property, which some may find unsuitable.
