Pheasants Rest is a beautiful and spacious holiday apartment. It is set within our own property and looks out over our own private grounds.
Located in Knowbury a small village nestled in Shropshire, 4 miles from beautiful historic Ludlow town.

We have a lovely little local pub 'The Bennetts End' just 5 mins walk down the hill.

This is an ideal base to enjoy a peaceful break away from the hustle & bustle, perfect for walking / sight seeing.
Come and explore glorious countryside with an abundance of footpaths metres from the door, experience all this stunning area has to offer.

The apartment is a recent conversion and has been completed to a very high standard. We have operated as a holiday let via other platforms for some time .. please feel free to check out reviews on those whilst we build our reviews on VRBO.

The property has a private side entrance and double patio doors opening out to a partially covered outdoor seating area
Inside you will find a large lounge, bedroom (the bedroom and lounge are separated by a half height wall and blackout blinds), dressing room, fully equip kitchen dinner, large shower room.
Parking is possible directly outside the apartment on you own exclusive section of our recently resurfaced private drive. Also apart from some raised door thresholds there are no stairs.
Sorry we currently don’t allow pets.

Heating/ Cooling is via air conditioning & Duux electric radiators. From November to March there is also an electric log burner.
TIP: The apartment has tiled floor so we recommend you bring slippers .. BUT don't panic if you forget them we have some you can borrow!

** There is no freezer in the kitchen. However we have a small/mini counter top freezer available on request. (It’s ideal for ice cubes & tub of ice cream)

*** Although there is no washing machine in the apartment, for stays of 4 nights or more we can arrange limited access to a machine with prior agreement. Shorter stays maybe granted access for a small charge. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

At Pheasants Rest we have arranged contactless checkin. Although we try to be available to welcome you, your key will be located in a key safe.
All directions and key safe code will be sent to you shortly before your trip.
Please ensure you have the details to hand on arrival.

***Vehicle Charging: Please be aware, vehicle charging is not permitted without prior agreement. We have an EV Charger on site and there is access to a 13Amp outdoor socket. However using these facilities comes at an extra cost and must be paid in advance.
There are a number of local charging stations we can also direct you to if needed. Many Thanks for your understanding.

Located in Ludlow, this apartment is in a rural area. Shropshire Hills and Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Clee Hills and Ludlow Food Centre. Rays Farm Country Matters and Highley Station Visitor Centre are also worth visiting.
