This lovely location has opportunities for walking and cycling in the local area and is an excellent base for touring all of Shropshire, as well as parts of Cheshire, Staffordshire and even Wales. Nearby Market Drayton boasts a good selection of shops and pubs and is close to the Shropshire Union Canal. Why not spend a day or two visiting some of the nearby Staffordshire attractions of Trentham Gardens, Monkey World, Shugborough Hall or the world famous Wedgewood Pottery? The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge with its many museums is within easy reach as are any number of attractive market towns including Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock and Ludlow.
