This beautiful yet quirky shepherd’s hut is located in the Clee Hill area of Shropshire, close to the market town of Ludlow. Combining modern living with stunning views of Clee Hill and the adjacent farm, Shepherds Cabin is perfect for couples or young families looking for a relaxing summer break. The inside of the property while small offers a real homely feel, with guests entering the property immediately finding the open-plan living area, which has a fully modern kitchen, sitting area with log burner and a king-size bed. The cabin’s other bedroom, is a twin and located via the ladder at the end of the open-plan living area. Elsewhere on the first floor is the shower room. But the cabin’s best features are all located outdoors, where the patio area will keep guests entertained, particularly in summer evenings. The countryside views make a perfect backdrop for a barbecue, and guests can dine in style with a choice of seating on either the dining table or comfortable sofa. While the hot tub ensures that the party will go on until late. Away from the property, there are plenty of activities for holiday makers to sink their teeth into. The nearby Clee Hill Common, sits within the stunning surroundings of South Shropshire, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Understandably, the area proves to be a popular one for walkers and cyclists. The town of Ludlow is located just six miles away, and is well worth a visit. Famous for its 13th century castle, the town’s medieval street pattern harks back to that time, and offers a great backdrop to its street markets. You’ll also find a great selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. Other towns worth visiting include, Shrewsbury, Leominster, Hereford and Church Stretton, which is also known as little Switzerland. While West Midlands Safari Park is just 20 miles away, and the World Heritage Site at Ironbridge Gorge is around 30 miles away. Shepherd’s Cabin really is a great spot for holiday makers to enjoy the sights and surrounds of the stunning Shropshire countryside, and a great base to plan a host of activities that will live long in the memory.
