The charming village of Harley is close to the popular market town of Much Wenlock with its many beautiful period buildings, historic Abbey and plentiful shops, tea rooms and pubs. Fabulous walks can be found nearby, stretching across Wenlock Edge and on to Church Stretton with breathtaking views across the Long Mynd, home to grazing sheep and local wild ponies. A day spent exploring the World Heritage Sites around Ironbridge with its iconic iron bridge and its many museums is a must, as is a trip to Ludlow, with its wealth of interesting architecture, castle, 13th century church, racecourse and riverside walks. A lovely Shropshire base.
