Morville Barn, located in the picturesque region of Morville, Shropshire, is an early 18th-century converted barn that offers a cozy and rustic retreat for families and friends. Originally believed to be stables, this charming holiday cottage is part of a National Trust initiative aimed at revitalizing 16 unused barns across five estates in England. The cottage accommodates up to five guests, featuring two king-size bedrooms, a single bedroom, a bathroom, and a shower room, making it an ideal space for relaxation and exploration.

This holiday accommodation is situated on a former farm adjacent to Morville Hall, an Elizabethan manor house that was remodeled in the 18th century. The barn itself was extended twice by 1808, transforming it into its current form. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a woodburning stove for cooler evenings and a fully equipped modern kitchen for preparing home-cooked meals. Additionally, the property is dog-friendly, allowing guests to bring their pets along, and features a shared enclosed garden with views of a nearby pond.

The medieval town of Much Wenlock, known for inspiring the modern Olympic Games, is only a five-minute drive from Morville Barn. Visitors can follow the Olympian Trail to learn more about the town's historical significance. A little further afield, Ironbridge, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is approximately a 15-minute drive and is recognized as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities to explore the stunning Shropshire countryside. Numerous walking paths and trails start from Morville village, making it easy to immerse oneself in nature. For a more adventurous outing, Dudmaston Estate, located just a 10-minute drive away, features ancient woodlands and trails perfect for biking and walking. Additionally, visitors can challenge themselves with a hike up Wenlock Edge or the Long Mynd, where breathtaking views await at the summit.
