Tythe Cottage is a large three-bedroom property with excellent nearby amenities, and is a fabulous choice for your next getaway, whether you’re with friends or family. The ground floor area comprises of a cosy living room featuring an inglenook fireplace with brick chimney breast and cast-iron log burner inset. A lovely open plan dining and conservatory area, with access to the back gardens. An idyllic spot to sit and relax to enjoy a meal after a day exploring the town. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the modern appliances, including a wine cooler and coffee machine for added luxuries during your stay. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one with single bed, another with a double bed and the third with a kingsize bed. The impressive bathroom showcasing a large double walk-in shower and free-standing bath. Outside the property is ample parking for two cars, complemented by an enclosed garden which is a great place to let your dog run free whilst you enjoy the surroundings. The lighting and music are opertated by Google.
Just 2¼ miles will take you into the town of Shrewsbury over the English Bridge where there are various independent shops, pubs and lovely restaurants. Or you can meander around the beautiful Quarry Park, with the River Severn running through to enjoy. Shrewsbury hosts a variety of things to see and do, from the impressive, sandstone castle and fascinating local museum, to the historic market hall, where you can find artisan vendors and local producers. There is always a wonderful atmosphere to experience. Or in the evening, maybe try the independent cinema located in the historic hall on the market square, screening the latest releases, with a great vaulted café-bar.
Outside of Shrewsbury, if you feel like getting out into the countryside there are the Shropshire Hills, home to a fantastic range of picture-postcard villages and towns that are waiting to be explored, along with delightful outdoor spaces for those excursion enthusiasts, so be sure to take some time to get to know this wonderful area during your stay! With castles, farmers’ markets and countryside all available locally, there are endless amounts of activities to choose from. Tythe Cottage is a superb option for exploring Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas.
