Fabulous Georgian Town House, Ludlow

Shropshire. Sleeps up to 8

Retaining many of its original features, with high ceilings and original panelled rooms, it makes a unique and comfortable home from which to enjoy all that Ludlow has to offer. The ‘base price’ for four adults gives you TWO bedrooms on the first floor, one with a king size double, the other with two single beds. They share a large shower room. The double room enjoys a dual aspect and has the Oriel Window that gives the house its name. If you are a party of 5 or more you will automatically be given further bedrooms on the top floor and en-suite bathroom. If you are a party of 4 or less the top floor will not be available unless specifically requested, and at additional cost. The further rooms consist of two bedrooms up a steep narrow stair case (one with twin beds, which you walk through to get to a double bedded room and an ensuite bathroom). Please ensure that you accurately reflect the number in your party, as the size of the dining table, number of beds made up etc. will correspond to what is booked.
With a large drawing room connecting to a breakfast room/dining room and a separate kitchen on the ground floor, it is very spacious house. The impressive 17th century oak staircase leads to a modern shower room on the half landing and to the two bedrooms on the first floor.

The house is accessed through a shared hallway.

This vacation home is located in Ludlow. Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and Land of the Lost Content Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Castle Lodge and Ludlow Castle. Ludlow Food Centre and Clee Hills are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
