Shrewsbury Cottage is a lovely semi-detached holiday property, one mile southwest of the pretty medieval town of Shrewsbury. It is a real ’home away from home’, with all you need to make your stay memorable. Although on an historic bus route into town, the property has off road parking for 2 cars, along with a private walled courtyard with patio area. The location is excellent for exploring all that Shropshire has on offer. The fabulous Stretton Hills, Ironbridge, home of the industrial revolution, and Telford are all but a 15-20-minute drive. Shrewsbury town centre is a couple of minutes by car or a pleasant half-hour walk. Nestled in the loop of the River Severn, Shrewsbury is the home of the annual flower show, which always packs the town and is a marvellous 2-day event. It is also home to the annual 4-day folk festival, held over the August bank holiday. The Quarry Park plays host to the many popular events and concerts, and the theatre has great acts throughout the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
