The space
Cynynion Uchaf has four large charming bedrooms with rural views and comfortable beds. A master king-size with sleigh bed, exposed timbers, smart TV and a new en-suite shower room with comfort height WC. A further king-size bedroom, leading to a twin room is a great set up for young families. The fourth double bedroom has a built in oak wardrobe and countryside views.
Two fold up single beds with regular mattresses available for 2 extra guests at £20 per night per bed, which can fit into any room, making the total guest size 10. Travel cot, bedding, highchair and stairgate also available on request and lots of board games and books for children.
Bookings for Friday and Saturday nights, where you would like a later check out time on Sunday up to 5pm can be arranged at an additional fee. This offer is during low season only during November to April. Please ask for details.
The fully equipped open plan kitchen and dining area includes an electric range cooker with two ovens, grill and induction hob, separate built in oven and grill, dishwasher, slow cooker and coffee machine for all your self-catering needs, whilst keeping the original character of the farmhouse with exposed beams and a feature stone wall. Complimentary tea, coffee (including machine pods), sugar, salt & pepper, oil, washing pods & fabric conditioner, ice, first nights logs, bath and shower gel provided for your stay. Free Wifi. The large oak dining table seats eight guests comfortably and is perfect for casual family meals or celebrating special occasions, with contemporary lights hanging over head for added ambience.
There are plenty of seating areas to spend time together and younger guests can retreat to the snug with an impressive inglenook fireplace, electric log fire, leather sofa, two reclining armchairs and a TV with Firestick and DVD player for entertainment. The conservatory is a light filled space overlooking the beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy the birdsong.
Relax in the sitting room on large comfy Italian leather sofas whilst watching the 50'' Smart TV. The wood burner provides a cosy atmosphere when the weather turns cooler. A Biomass system heats the water and central heating and Solar PV panels provide renewable energy.
There are lots of country walks from your doorstep, including the Rhydycroesau Woodlands and the Oswestry Old Racecourse Common Heritage Site. There are tourist information leaflets in the Farmhouse about many more places to go and see! Oswestry 4.4 miles, Llangollen 13 miles, Welshpool 15 miles, Shrewsbury 17 miles and Chester 27 miles.
Guest access
Sat Nav gets you to the house in about 5 minutes from Oswestry town. There is no public transport but there are several local taxi firms.

There is a small unfenced pond in the garden and children must be supervised at all times.
One well behaved dog allowed. Must be kept on a lead at all times outside as this is a working farm. Not allowed upstairs. Walk in kennel available outside. £25 to be paid on arrival.
Located in Oswestry, this farm stay is in a rural area and in the mountains. The Willow Art Gallery and British Ironwork Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Pontcysyllte Aquaduct and Chirk Castle. Consider Llanfyllin Workhouse for a night out or Rednal Laser Games if you're traveling with kids.
