Find Withypool along the bridleway and stop at the Royal Oak pub for a drink or a handy store. For a day of nature and sun, take an afternoon stroll to a local fishing lake with a fire pit. Fishing is also permitted along the river below the property, but please bring your rod licence! Visit Tarr Steps Woodland National Natural Reserve for a longer walk and the opportunity to explore Somerset's scenery, or head to the coast to see Dunster Castle, a National Trust location with 1,000 years of history, subtropical gardens, and even a steam train. While on the coast, visit Minehead, which boasts a profusion of shops and restaurants, a beautiful beach, and even a water park and is ideal for a summer trip with your loved ones.
