About the property

Designed with charming décor and complementary pops of colour, Windmill Old Orchard will make you feel at home. Situated in the hamlet of Pibsbury, the property is a fantastic base for enjoying the south Somerset countryside, while the well-equipped outdoor space makes it perfect for a quiet and romantic break. The cottage is set within Windmill Farm which is in the middle of 10 acres of stunning fields and paddocks that you are welcome to explore.


The space

The shepherd's hut begins with a delightful outdoor space, complete with everything you should need to enjoy a rural escape in nature. Head over to the outdoor lounge where you can relax on the cosy day bed, whip up a delicious pizza on the pizza oven and dine alfresco with sunset views across the old orchard. When the sky fills with stars, gather around the fire pit with a warming mug of hot chocolate or climb into your very own private hot tub.



Step through the double doors into the open-plan living space where you will find a stunning midnight blue kitchen comprising an electric oven and hob, a toaster, a kettle and a fridge. Head to the two-seater dining table to enjoy a romantic, home-cooked feast or relax on the comfortable armchairs with your favourite book in hand.



After a day of exploring the vast countryside, climb into the comfortable king-size bed and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV or nestle into the soft linen sheets for an evening of relaxation.



The shepherd's hut is complete with a modern shower room, featuring a WC and fluffy towels.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.



Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.



Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
