Ground floor apartment sleeping 3 + travel cot
Rural setting with far reaching views across the Somerset levels
Situated less than a mile outside the delightful village of Cheddar, surrounded by peaceful rolling countryside and with magnificent views across the Somerset levels to Cheddar and the Mendips beyond. A 15 minute stroll down a quiet country lane brings you to the centre of the village with a choice of pubs, shops and restaurants. Perfectly located for active pursuits including walking, horse riding and cycling and within easy driving distance of the picturesque scenery of Cheddar Caves and Gorge, England's smallest city of Wells, the historic town of Glastonbury and the large (outlet) shopping centre at Street. The splendour of Exmoor and the historic cities of Bath and Bristol also all just a short scenic drive and provide ideal locations for a day's exploration.
The accommodation occupies the entire ground floor of a detached cottage and is comfortably furnished throughout with electric heating for the cooler seasons. Two bedrooms - double with wonderful countryside views and ensuite bathroom/wc with shower over the bath. Compact single bedded room (access to bathroom through double bedded room and therefore most suited to families). Comfortable living room with TV and DVD and country views. Fully fitted kitchen/dining room with electric cooker + extractor and microwave. Small private patio with garden furniture and shared use of adjacent lawned garden.
