House In Somerset, Wells

Somerset. Sleeps up to 3

This property is located in the cathedral city of Wells, England s smallest city. The city is easily negotiable on foot and offers a great range of independent boutiques, pubs, delis, and restaurants, alongside the magnificent Gothic cathedral and adjoining Bishops Palace Gardens. Just outside the city, a ten minute drive away, visitors will find Wookey Hole Caves, a complex of attractions not only including the caves themselves, but also a number of museums, a 4D cinema, a range of play facilities, and a Victorian penny arcade. A little further afield, a visit to the impressive Glastonbury Abbey is not to be missed, and keen shoppers will enjoy a day visiting the discount shopping village in Street, just eight miles away. Two steps lead from the pavement up to the front door of this property, bringing guests to the cosy and homely lounge, where a window seat and a comfortable sofa offer plenty of space to relax in front of the TV/DVD and hi fi, or perhaps curl up with a book in front of the pebble effect electric fire. Guests pass the dining area on the way to the kitchen, where they will find an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a restful double room, whilst the second room is a peaceful single room. The bathroom can also be found on this floor and offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside, to the rear of the property and accessed through the patio door in the kitchen, there is a small, yet attractive, courtyard garden which has garden furniture and a BBQ. There is off road parking available for one car, whilst guests can also find roadside parking close to the cottage.
