Peacefully situated in the small village of Stawell, popular for bird watching, beside the Polden Hills and close to the Somerset Levels, nature reserves and walks, fishing can also be accessed. Other local attractions include Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Wookey Hole and the beaches at Burnham on Sea, Brean Sands and Weston Super Mare. Try some of the famous Cheddar cheese and local Somerset cider. A short drive brings you to the Quantock Hills and the beautiful Somerset coast which includes Minehead and Porlock Weir. Close by is the West Somerset Railway and historic town of Dunster with its castle. In nearby Yeovilton there is the largest Fleet Air Arm Museum in Europe.
